Public Art Fund Presents...Pond Planters by Artist Paula Hayes "Green" Holiday Gifts
Unique hand-crafted planters by contemporary artist Paula Hayes.
NEW YORK, NY.- Public Art Fund is pleased to present a series of unique hand-crafted planters by contemporary artist Paula Hayes. Sculpted out of rubber and hand-colored with bright oil pastels, these flower pots are available in 3 sizes, ranging from 5 to 10 inches in diameter and 6 to 12 inches in height. Filled with plants, the small planters include Jewel Orchids and the medium and large-sized planters include a variety of succulents. Produced as a limited edition, these functional artworks were created specially for Public Art Fund and are solely available for purchase through the art organization. The purchase of these works benefits Public Art Fund's programs.

Artist Paula Hayes is inspired by the natural world, and typically incorporates plants and other living elements into her work. Her work mostly involves organic, living sculptures and ecological environments, and previous projects include terrariums, planters and birdhouses. Born in Concord, Massachusetts, Hayes received a BS from Skidmore College and an MFA in sculpture from Parsons School of Design. She has had solo exhibitions at Salon 94, New York (2004); Galerie fur Landeschaftkunst, Hamburg, Germany (1998); Eigen + Art, Berlin, Germany (1995); and Fawbush Gallery, New York (1994).
