Legendary musician, poet, artist, and activist Patti Smith will attend a Block
Cinema screening of the new documentary Patti Smith: Dream of Life at 8 pm on Friday, January 30. Smith and the film's director, photographer Steven Sebring, will participate in a post-film conversation with Jim DeRogatis, pop music critic for the Chicago Sun-Times and co-host of Sound Opinions.
Tickets are $8 for Northwestern University students, faculty, and staff; $11 for the general public. Tickets go on sale at 10:30 am on Friday, January 23 at the Norris Box Office on the first floor of the Norris University Center, 1999 Campus Drive, Evanston, and online at www.nbo.northwestern.edu

Tickets purchased online may be picked up at the Block Museum beginning at 7 pm the night of the event. Seating is general admission and will begin at 7:30 pm.
A special pre-sale for Block Museum members will be held on Thursday, January 22 from 10:30 am to 6 pm at the Norris Box Office. Please present your Block Museum membership card when purchasing tickets.
