International Contemporary Jewelry Fair to premiere aboard SeaFair -Art Basel Miami Beach week 2012
In keeping with the spirit of America’s largest art fair week, ICJF will present unique jewelry created by designers and artists from around the world.
MIAMI, FL.- International Fine Art Expositions announces the inaugural International Contemporary Jewelry Fair (ICJF), which will premiere during Art Basel Miami Beach week, December 4th to the 9th of 2012. The fair will be held aboard Expoships 228’ mega-yacht exhibition venue SeaFair - docked at its new winter season location at Chopin Plaza in Noguchi Bayfront Park in downtown Miami.

In keeping with the spirit of America’s largest art fair week, ICJF will present unique jewelry created by designers and artists from around the world as another segment of collectible contemporary art. In addition to the shipboard exhibition, SeaFair will play host to a bevy of educational events and exclusive VIP parties, including a private First View on December 4th.

The unique new event offers a new and exciting evening destination for all fair attendees with opening hours each evening until 10PM. Cocktails, champagne and caviar are served on the vessel’s extraordinary sky deck overlooking both the colorful downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay. The ship’s glass walled VIP lounge and Luxe Lounge offer further inviting facilities for collectors aboard the ship. ICJF will unquestionably become a “must-see” destination for collectors and pre-holiday browsers - ideally located in the heart of the Miami’s downtown arts and entertainment district.

The fair will be open daily from 12pm – 10pm from December 5 – 8 and Sunday December 9 from 12pm - 7pm. ICJF offers convenient valet and self-parking and optional priority boarding. Tickets can be purchased at the door, $20 for a one-day ticket and $30 for a Priority Boarding ticket, which allows immediate priority boarding. Advance ticketing is available online for $15 for a one-day ticket and $25 for a Priority Boarding ticket at www.expoships.com. As per United States Coast Guard regulations, all attendees are required to show a photo ID upon entry to the fair.

SeaFair is the world's first mobile mega-yacht venue and one of the largest private yachts in the United States. Groundbreaking in scale, ingenuity and style, the innovative exhibition facility - which remains dockside during each event - pairs international fine art, jewelry and collectables with harbor view dining and special events in cities along the eastern seaboard.

The ship boasts three decks of international galleries, two outdoor bars, an international coffee bar, as well as a formal glass-walled collectors’ lounge and an open-air bistro on the Sky Deck.

The $40M purpose built exhibition yacht was designed by internationally acclaimed yacht designer Luiz de Basto. At 228 feet and 2,800 international tons, it is one of the largest ships built for commercial operation in the Intracoastal Waterway and requires a draft of only 6.5 feet, allowing it to dock at yacht facilities in central city locations rather than use commercial ports.
