MAASTRICHT.-For the third consecutive year Hamilton Fitzjames will present The Collectors’ Forum at TEFAF (The European Fine Art Fair) in Maastricht , The Netherlands from March 7 to 16, 2008.

TEFAF is the world’s most prestigious and influential art and antique fair, attracting thousands of visitors from around the world to view and purchase museum-quality works. In 2008, over 220 leading dealers from 15 countries will exhibit art and antiques worth over US$1 billion, including paintings, drawings, prints, sculpture, classical antiquities, art of the Near and Far East, illuminated manuscripts, rare maps, jewelry, textiles, porcelain, glass and silver.

The 2008 edition will also have more than 40 dealers displaying works from the 20th and 21st centuries, including the Surrealist René Magritte’s 1948 painting Les Grâces Naturelles and Zhang Qikai’s 2007 painting Panda in Beetle.

Our four-night program begins with the exclusive by-invitation-only Private View which takes place the day before TEFAF opens to the public. In the days following, attend dealer’s talks, private receptions and intimate dinners with dealers, artists and members of the international art community.
